Estou participando das atividades do grupo no Yahoo! Simplesmente Tricô.

Fazer esse hexágono era a tarefa 3.

Hmmm... Não sei se ficou lá essas coisas não...

Fiz com agulha de crochê Clover 3.5mm (Finalmente comprei minha 1ª!!!! Vai levar um bom tempo até ter todas... Caríssima! Mas adorei. Vale a pena!), fio Fofura Kids da Círculo.

Faz tempo que não apareço por aqui...

Comecei a trabalhar, cai da escada e desloquei meu ombro, minha avó morreu...

Hmmmm... Deixa pra lá...

O que ando fazendo no mundo do tricô/crochê???

Nada muito interessante, pra dizer a verdade.

Eu moro no Rio de Janeiro e aqui estamos tostando no últimos tempos.

Calor???

Calor é pouco.

Tem dias que sinto que se colocasse um pouco de essência de eucalipto na minha casa a sensação seria a mesma de estar dentro de uma sauna.

Descobri também como se sente aquele frango assado de padaria... Vapor vindo por todos os lados e ele se revirando no meio... =)

Portanto, minha aventura no mundo das linhas anda bem básica. Minha colcha em log cabin está arquivada, afinal colocar aquilo no colo nesse calor definitivamente não rola! Mas tenho que dizer que ela está ficando... Não sei bem o que... Ainda não consegui decidir se eu estou gostando do jeito que as cores estão ficando... Enfim...

Mas no geral são toalhinhas mesmo que estão saindo das minhas agulhas...

Acabei de terminar essa... Dá pra ver a silhoueta do Mickey aí? =)

Olá!!!

Eu novamente!!!

Tentando recuperar um pouco do tempo perdido...

Comecei a trabalhar, cai de uma escada no trabalho, desloquei o ombro (putz, que dor, principalmente pra colocar no lugar), estou imobilizada sei lá por quanto tempo... 15 dias a princípio, mas claro que já dei um jeitinho pra fazer tricô, crochê e até aprender tunisiano.

Por não poder mexer o ombro, cansa um pouco, mas dá pra fazer tranquilamente.

Alguns esqueci de tirar fotos... Vou tentar recuperá-los pra quem dei, por alguns momentos, pra poder registrá-los aqui em um futuro post. Os demais estarei colocando aqui.

Essa é minha segunda tentativa em log cabin, uma manta pra mim.

Fiz um teste fazendo um dishcloth, mas não gostei muito do resultado final, ainda não estava com prática em pegar pontos (tive o mesmo problema no início da colcha, tanto que as primeiras tiras tem problemas visíveis nessa questão... depois peguei o jeito - é super fácil!)

Projeto: Lily's Joseph's Blankie of Many Colors

Fio: Anne, duplo

Agulha: 4 mm (comecei fazendo com a 4.5mm, mas achei que estava ficando muito molenga, já com a nº 4 mm ficou perfeito, ao meu ver)

Início: 12 de dezembro de 2009, no Sítio Bumerangue (Itaguaí)

Outro do blog e do livro Mason-Dixon Knitting, mas eu fiz algumas pequenas modificações, porque eu quero usar como um jogo americano no meu trabalho, então adicionei mais dois quadrados.

Essa toalhinha usa técnicas de log cabin, mittered squares e borda aplicada em i-cord.

Dessa vez, diferentemente de quando fiz um dishcloth em log cabin e apliquei essa borda em i-cord, a borda ficou muito legal. A dica é usar uma agulha 1 ou 2 números maiores do que vc usou pra fazer o trabalho.

Usei os vídeos do You Tube da Kelley Petkun pra aplicar a borda.

Agulhas: 5 mm para o projeto (talvez teria ficado melhor com uma 4.5mm); 6 mm para a borda

Fio: Mix Alpíria da Purafibra - 100% algodão (ganhei esse fio da Shirley, no sorteio semanal do grupo Simplesmente Tricô)

Feito em: 12 de dezembro de 2009.

Pra acompanhar essa toalhinha aí em cima, eu fiz esse porta talher / porta pasta e escova de dentes. Usei o ponto mistake rib.

Terminei fazendo uma carreira de ponto baixo, e mais duas em arco (3 correntinhas, pula 1 ponto baixo, faz 1 ponto baixo, 3 corr, pula 1 pb, faz 1 pb...).

Pra terminar, usando meu tear pra fazer icord (que ganhei da Grace, de amigo oculto), usei apenas dois pinos do menor, pra fazer uma cordinha pra fechar meu saquinho.

Minha primeira tentativa em log cabin foi esse dishcloth.

Eu particularmente não gostei muito.

Acredito que foi a aplicação da borda que me irritou. Ficou muito apertada e entortou meu trabalho todo.

1 souflé hidratante para o corpo Vinhedos da França - Planet Spa (Avon).

Uma caixa de presentes estrela (Avon) (engraçado que tinha dito pra minha mãe que eu queria um kit da Avon - só pq queria a caixa...).

Um cartão de natal / enfeite de árvore (ou pra qq outro lugar) muito fofo.

Oi!

Minha amiga secreta de um dos grupos de tricô que participo - o Crazy Knitting Ladies - foi a Grace do As Tramas de Milady.

Eu tirei a Paula do Ponto Arroz.

Eu amei os presentinhos que ganhei...

Embalado com cuidado e carinho...

Fofos os papéis de presente de zebrinha...

Um novelo de lã natural. Só não sei bem qual é... Mas é tão macia... E super fininha...

Pensando bem o que fazer com ela...

Amei esse cachecol. Pontos simples, somente em meia e barra 2x2, mas uma graça!

Fica todo enroladinho! Super macio!

E claro, minha parte preferida com certeza são os acessórios!

Agulhas de bambu, tear para fazer i-cord (super prático! amei!), fechos para bolsa, botões, pompom fácil, contador de carreiras da Pony, tesoura portátil e fita métrica.

E ganhei tb 3 novelos de linha Natural da Círculo.

Vou ver se da próxima vez que for no Centro eu compro outros novelos de cores que combinem, talvez mais fortes, pra fazer algo legal com elas.

O que eu dei para a Paula...

Eu esqueci de tirar fotos dos presentes...

Mas foram: 4 novelos de Mink (amarelo) da Aslan - amo esse fio!; 1 cachecol que eu fiz com o 5º novelo; 1 sapatinho de tricô, 1 caderno tamanho A5 com folhas com cores fosforecentes para escrever ou colar receitas de tricô/crochê (eu uso muito esses caderninhos, amo!), marcadores de texto - tipo post-it mas transparentes - para marcar a carreira que se está trabalhando (uso muito pq eles colam e descolam com facilidade e ainda dá pra fazer pequenas anotações neles), um Starfish Dishcloth com cores natalinas e... Acho que foi só isso... Não me lembro mais...

Enviei junto esse cartão. Eu mesma fiz!!!

Eu vi no blog da Revista Craft a algum tempo atrás...

Ficou lindo, não??? =)

Fiz essa caixa colando 3 tipos de papéis de presente diferente (mas que tinham cores que combinavam), passando cola branca numa caixa de papel ofício, cortando em pedaços com a mesma tesoura decorativa que usei no cartão e depois passando cola por cima de toda a caixa novamente, para dar acabamento.

Fiz uma árvore de natal em crochê - com linha Anne Brilho de Natal (prateada) e colei com durex - para que possa removida, se a Paula desejar.

Os presentes foram embalados em outro papel que combinava com os papéis da caixa.

Eu particularmente AMEI a caixa. Quase que a Paula fica sem ela... Hahahahaha...

Eu sei, eu sei...
Estou super-hiper atrasada com meus posts.

Mas é que estou – nas últimas 3 semanas - no meio de um processo de entrevista, juntar documentação (muita documentação!) e treinamento pra começar no meu novo emprego.
Oba! Dinheiro para comprar lã à vista!!!

Eu participo de um projeto voluntário chamado Amigos da Escola - dou aula de crochê todos os sábados de manhã - na Escola Municipal Vitor Meireles (Taquara - Rio de Janeiro), que é a escola onde estudei quando era criança e é a escola que minha mãe trabalha.

Sábado passado o laboratório Merck e o Sesi fizeram um dia de Escola Aberta - pra toda a comunidade, oferecendo várias oficinas, como por exemplo: fuxico, dentista, corte de cabelo, massagem, capoeira, exame de vista, maquiagem etc. Além de almoço, que aliás estava uma delícia... =)

Eu fiquei na sala ajudando a professora de fuxico, depois que dei aula pras minhas alunas. E no final, finalmente consegui aprender a fazer fuxico. Tão bonitinho, né??? O único problema é que fico me furando com a agulha o tempo todo... ;-)

Nesse mesmo dia quando estava voltando cansada... Estava pensando onde estão meus presentes: do amigo secreto do grupo Crazy Knitting Ladies e do sorteio do Simplesmente Tricô. De repente meu porteiro me chama e vem ao meu encontro com dois pacotes do Sedex!

Ai, ai, bate coração!!!

Agora um detalhe... Quem me tirou no amigo oculto???

Hehehehehe....

Infelizmente, a caixa acima (do amigo secreto) só posso abrir no dia 5, já a caixa da Shirley...

Os fios da Purafibra (marca que até eu entrar no blog da Shirley o Cia. das Agulhas, eu nunca tinha ouvido falar...) são muito fofos. Parecem cadarços. São feitos em 100% algodão. Amei as cores! Acho que vou fazer um jogo americano pra eu levar pro trabalho, já que pedi Ticket Alimentação.

Já os outros, não sei bem qual o material. Suponho que seja lã??? Não sei. Mas são bem ásperos e fortes, ideais para fazer tapetes, na minha opinião. Com esses tons sobre tons, acho que se eu fizer um tapete pra mim log cabin vai ficar bonito. O que vocês acham?

Eu vi essa estrela baseada em Granny Squares no Flickr - achei simplesmente uma graça - e como não tinha receita eu resolvi fazer uma sozinha.

I saw this star based in a granny square in Flickr - I liked it very much, but as I didn't find the pattern I decide I could make it on my own.

Faça um círculo (eu usei o método conhecido como magic ring ou magic circle (vídeo), é o meu preferido pra começar círculos em crochet): 2 correntinhas (c) pra subir (substitui o primeiro ponto alto), 2 pontos altos (pa), 1 c, *3pa, 1c*, repita ** 4 vezes. Ficam 5 grupos de 3 pa separados por 1 c. Feche a carreira com 1 pbx.

Make a circle (I use the magic ring or circle method) as follows:

2 chains (c) to begin, 2 double crochets (dc), 1 c, *3dc,1c*, repeat ** 4 times. You have now a circle with 5 groups of 3 dc+1c. Slip stich (ss) in the first dc.

Continue fazendo pontos baixíssimos até o próximo espaço entre grupos de pontos altos. Suba com 2 correntinhas, faça 2 pontos altos, 1 c, 3pa, 1c. Siga fazendo entre os espaços seguintes 3pa, 1c, 3pa, 1c. Termine a carreira fazendo 1 pbx no 1º ponto. (Na estrela cinza, eu fiz 3pa, 2c, 3pa, 1c).

Continue ss until the next space between dc clusters. Begin the next round with 2 chains. In the same space make 2 more dc, 1c, 3dc, 1c. In the next spaces: 3dc,1c, 3dc, 1c. (In the gray star I did 3dc, 2c, 3dc, 1c).

Esse foi o 2º cachecol em tricot que eu fiz, com uma linha de chenille da Círculo.

Apesar de torto eu gostava dele. Era tão macio e quentinho...

Pena que emprestei pra uma menina que estava doente, mas em seguida saí do emprego que eu estava e não me devolveram....

Enfim...

Foi feito somente em carreiras de tricô.

Estes sapatinhos são muito fáceis de fazer. Eu faço um par em cerca de 5 ou 6 horas. Eles são realmente viciantes. Espero que gostem!

These slippers are really easy to make. I’m only a beginner knitter and I am NOT fast, but I make a pair in about 5 or 6 hours. They are really addictive. I hope you enjoy!

Arremate a linha que está usando sem finalizar o trabalho.
Pegue 2 fios de Lastex (coloridos e de cores diferentes, ou de acordo com sua preferência) e junte ao trabalho. Arremate o trabalho utilizando o Lastex para finalizar.

Continue like this after the 10 rows above:

Bolsa Correntinhas (Crochê)

Mini

Material: barbante Apolo nº6 – agulha nº 4,5mm

c – correntinha

p.b. – ponto baixo

p.bx. – ponto baixíssimo

Receita:

36 c + 1 c pra virar (ou correntinhas necessárias para o tamanho de bolsa desejado) à trabalhe em p.b. por toda a volta, sendo que para virar faça 3 p.b. no ponto e no final da 1ª volta faça 2 p.b. no ponto. Fechar com 1 p.bx. Suba com 1 c e fazer novamente a volta com p.b. (2 ou 3 carreiras).

Depois das 2 ou 3 carr de p.b. siga fazendo a altura da bolsa com 5 c + 1 p.b. (pulando 1 p.b. da base), a partir da 2ª carreira faça o p.b. no meio das 5 c da carr abaixo. Repita até o comprimento desejado.

Ao chegar na altura desejada divida os 2 lados igualmente. Marque os dois lados.

*Pule 4 alças a partir da marcação, faça 1 p.b. + 5 c + 1.p.b até a última 4ª alcinha do lado da bolsa. Vire. Suba fazendo 2 p.b na última alça que foi feita, repetindo o processo até ficarem cerca de 5 alças.

Quando sobrarem apenas 5 alças, volte fazendo 4 p.b. em cada alça. Suba e faça 4 carreiras de p.b.

Suba fazendo 80 correntinhas para a alça da bolsa (ou vá experimentando até ficar no tamanho desejado). Prenda as correntinhas com 1 ponto baixo do outro lado. * Arremate.

Repita **.

Quando ambos os lados estiverem do mesmo jeito faça p.b. em toda a volta da bolsa, incluindo as duas alças. Lembrando que na 1ª carreira deverão ser feitos 2 p.b. em cada alça da bolsa. Faça no total 5 carreiras de p.b.

Acho que desfiz essa bolsa (Everlasting Bagstopper) umas duas vezes, pq qd eu parava (por um longo tempo) eu não prestava atenção em que carreira eu estava errava os pontos e de uma outra vez os pontos sairam da agulha e eu tive que voltar até um momento que me possibilitava inseri-los com mais facilidade.

I think I remade this bag at least twice. Sometimes I stopped for a long period of time and when I got back I forgot in what row I stopped and didn't look closely to the pattern and I did the wrong row. Sometimes the stitches escaped from the needle and I had to go back to a point that I could easily slip the stitches back to the needle.

A alça fiz de modo diferente ao indicado na receita. Segui as instruções para a alça de outra bolsa ecológica - a Grrlfriend Market Bag. Ela é uma bolsa extremamente similar. O ponto do corpo da bolsa é idêntico. O que muda é a alça e o fundo.

Mais pra frente é provável que eu faça essa bolsa.

I did not do the handle of this bag like the pattern. Instead I follow the instructions of another bag - the Grrlfriend Market Bag. It has a similar pattern, but the botton and the top and handles are different.

In the future I will probably do this bag too.

Estou tão feliz!!!

Eu terminei ontem de noite meu primeiro pé de meia.

Sei que não é a meia mais bonita do mundo, mas pra mim é, porque estou há 2 anos (desde que comecei a fazer tricot e crochet) tentando aprender a fazer meias.

Convenhamos trabalhar com 4 ou 5 agulhas de pontas duplas não é pra qualquer um, então resolvi aprender via outro método primeiro. Escolhi o Magic Loop, que pra mim é o mais sensato: 1 meia de cada vez com 1 agulha circular.

Usei o panfleto The Magic Loop: working around on one needle de Bev Galeskas e os vídeos tutorias da Kelley Petkun (Knitpicks - queria tanto que esse site entregasse aqui...) no Sock KAL.

Achei a parte de fazer o calcanhar e a virada (com short rows) bem fácil.

Me enrolei na parte de pegar os pontos para fazer o gusset (não sei qual a tradução), mas depois me acertei.

Não gostei muito da forma que fiz a ponta dos dedos, achei que não ficou tão confortável. Vou testar outra maneira no outro pé.

Também não gostei do ponto do cano da meia (Beaded Rib Stitch: R1: *k1, p1* / R2: knit). Ficou elástico? Ficou? Só que achei largo demais. E não achei bonito. Talvez um simples 2x2 teria ficado mais bonito. Veremos...

Mas apesar de tudo isso ela cabe perfeitamente.

I finished last night my first sock.

I know that it's not the world's most beautiful sock, but for me it is because I am trying to learn to knit one for 2 years (since I started knitting and crocheting).

Let us agree that to work with 4 or 5 double-pointed needles is not for everybody, so I decided to learn via

The pamphlet I used is the Magic Loop: working around on one needle by Bev Galeskas and I used too the Sock KAL's videos by Kelley Petkun (Knitpicks - I wish this site delivered here, but...). another method first. I chose the Magic Loop, which for me is the most sensible: one sock at a time with one circular needle.

I found the part of making the heel and the heel turn (with short rows) really easy. You see so many people complaining about it...

My greatest difficulty was picking up stitches to make the gusset. But eventually I got it.

I didn't like the toe shaping of this pattern. I didn't find it very comfortable. I'll try another way on the other foot.

I didn't like either the stitch pattern recommended to the leg of the sock (Beaded Rib Stitch: R1: * K1, p1 * / R2: knit). It was elastic? Yes, it was? But it became to large. And I did not find it beautiful. Perhaps a simple 2x2 would have been more to my liking. We'll see ...

But despite all that it fits perfectly.

I am VERY happy!

Infelizmente o verão está chegando...

Detesto ficar suada, pingando de calor.

A fiação do meu apartamento é tão velha que nem posso colocar um ar condicionado (meu pai disse que vai mandar consertar... só vendo pra crer...).

Resumindo: mosquito, calor, meses dormindo mal...

Eu sei que essas receitas são paninhos pra pia ou banheiro, mas são tão bonitinhos que não tenho coragem de usar pra esse fim. Alguns até coloquei para esse uso, mas a maioria estou fazendo para substituir as toalhinhas de rosto que uso (além dos lenços de papel descartáveis) para sobreviver menos molhada no verão carioca.

Esse foi o meu primeiro trabalho fazendo tranças. Fiz pra experimentar e ficou muito cute, modéstia a parte. Só não gosto da cor desse fio (verde água), acho muito sem graça, nem lembro porque comprei...

Minha bolsa arco-íris está pronta...

Caramba, ficou muuuuito linda!

Recebi muitos elogios com ela.

Hello insistiu que queria uma flor... Ficou puxando meu caderno onde estavam coladas as instruções e a foto da flor e apontando pra ela... 1 ano e 2 meses e já sabe o que quer... Pena que levei quase uns dez minutos pra entender o que ela queria. Hahahaha!!! Infelizmente esqueci de tirar uma foto legal com ela fazendo carinho na flor-broche que ela insistiu que queria... Mas nessa dá pra ver ela com a flor na blusa...

Fiz em fio duplo de Anne com ag. 3mm pra ficar bem firme e as flores/folhas fiz com fio duplo de Anne mas com agulha 4mm, já que não havia necessidade de ficar tão firme. Comecei fazendo broches e pregando na bolsa, costurando as folhas e flores. Me irritou então resolvi colar tudo com cola quente. Super fácil e rápido e super firme!!!

Hello insisted that she wanted a flower ... She was pulling my notebook where the instructions and photos of the flowers were glued and pointing to her ... 1 year and 2 months doesn't talk but already knows what she wants ... Too bad it took me nearly ten minutes to understand what she wanted. Hahahaha! Unfortunately I forgot to take better pictures with her caressing the flower-brooch she insisted she wanted ... But in that one you can see the flower in her blouse...

I used double threads of Anne with ag. 3mm to create a strong fabric in the bag, but with the flowers and leaves I used a 4mm crochet needle. There was no need to be so strong. I started making brooches and preaching in the bag, sewing the leaves and flowers. It irritated me so that I decided to paste it with hot glue. Super easy, super fast and super strong!

Estou aprendendo "cables" ou tranças - acho que seria essa a tradução. Então resolvi fazer um cachecol com 7 exemplos de cables cuja receita faz parte do livro Summer in Blossom Street da Debbie Macomber.

I'm learning to do cables. I saw some videos and decided to do the Cable Sampler Scarf from Summer in Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber.

Alguns estou gostando de fazer, outros não, todos são fáceis. O negócio é você não se perder em algumas partes. Prestar atenção. Mas é um trabalho que fica super bonito e diferente e realmente é muito mais fácil do que eu imaginava. Desde que comecei a tricotar, há uns 2 anos, eu queria aprender a fazer duas coisas: lace e cables. Estou fazendo o Kiri Shawl para tentar aprender o lace (ou renda?), tá caminhando, mas a passos lentos, mas cables é infinitamente mais fácil, apesar de ter que usar outra agulha.

Some of the cables are really beautiful, some I didn't like. But all are easy. You only have to pay attention to the repeats. I'm learning to do lace to. I'm knitting the Kiri Shawl, but is going really slow. Cables are so much more easy to do...

Starfish Dishcloth

Ontem a noite terminei minha "Starfish Dishcloth" (starfish = estrela-do-mar) em linha Anne mesclada em cores de Natal e prata.

Como fiz em agulhas retas 3.0mm e com apenas 1 fio da linha ficou quase em tamanho de um porta-copos. Estou pensando em fazer vários nesse mesmo tamanho e um usando fio duplo e agulhas 4.5mm para servir como porta-travessa.

Como ele é macio, outra opção seria usá-lo como guardanapo no Natal. Pensando, pensando... Vamos ver..

Essa semana vou ver se eu compro a linha Anne da mesma cor só que com fio dourado para ver como fica o mesmo trabalho, apesar de eu ter certeza que vou continuar preferindo a com detalhes prateados.

Bem vindo!

Aqui eu registrarei minha jornada no mundo do artesanato, em especial no tricô e no crochê.

Alguns dos posts colocarei em português (Brasil) e em inglês. Porém, como não tenho costume de escrever em inglês (eu leio muito e ouço mais ainda - AMO AUDIOBOOKS!!!) preparem-se para verem muitos erros, até eu me acostumar.

Serão bem vindas as correções nos comentários.

I'll try to write some of the posts both in portuguese (Brazil) and in english. But as I'm not used to write in english (I read a lot and listen many times more - I love audiobooks!!!) be prepared to see many errors.

Eu tinha várias linhas Anne, não sabia o que fazer com elas.

Resolvi fazer um Rainbow Ripple Blanket que vi no blog da Lucy - Attic24.

Comecei pensando em fazer um pequeno, pra bebê. Mudei logo de idéia: achei tão lindo - queria um pra mim.

Comecei, com fio duplo de Anne, mas como não gostei da disposição das cores iniciais (são as 4 primeiras na foto: pink, rosa, amarelo claro e azul claro). Então resolvi entrar na internet e procurar a ordem das cores do arco-íris. Continuei seguindo mais ou menos a ordem das cores do arco-íris. Está ficando lindo!

Mas a pergunta é: no que eu estava pensando??? Rsrsrs.

Fio duplo de Anne????

Claro que meu estoque de linhas sumiu como que por mágica e tive que comprar mais. Cada vez que vou na loja gasto quase uns R$50,00 só de Anne (cada uma numa média de R$6,70 a cor sólida).

Fiz uma conta básica e vou gastar em média uns R$500,00 pra fazer essa colcha.

Vai valer a pena? Com certeza! Está ficando linda. Mas meu bolso está sofrendo, principalmente porque estou desempregada (odeio essa palavra, vcs não? ;-) ).

Outro problema é que a colcha está ficando muito pesada. O que é bom saber, porque numa próxima vez irei procurar outro tipo de fio para trabalhar com colchas. Talvez o Fofura Kids (fiz um Baby Granny Blanket com ele e ficou super leve e maleável. Ficou lindo! Mostrarei no próximo post.), ou outro com uma seleção de cores mais ampla.

I decided to make the Ripple Blanket I saw in Lucy's blog - Attic24.

I started thinking about doing a baby blanket but I changed my mind as soon as I saw how beautiful my blanket was becoming - I wanted one for me.

I started, but as I did not like the initial array of colors (the first 4 are in the picture: magenta, pink, yellow and light blue), I went looking in the internet for the order of the colors of the rainbow. Then I continued more or less following the order that I found. It's getting really pretty!

But the question is: what was I thinking?? LOL.

Of course, my stash disappeared as if by magic and I had to buy more. Every time I go in the store I spent nearly R$50,00 (each ball an average of R$6,70).

I will spend an average of R$500,00 to do this blanket.

Is it worth it? Absolutely! It's getting pretty. But my pocket is suffering, mainly because I'm unemployed (hate that word, don't you? ;-) ).

Another problem is that the blanket is getting too heavy. Well, it's a experiment so it is good that I'm doing it this way because the next time I will look for another type of yarn better suited to make blankets.
